Introducing Graham
At long last...Graham Hilliard Lane. Born July 16, 2010.
I've been struggling with how to properly introduce this amazing little guy to my friends and family via the blog, but no story or picture seemed to do this little miracle of ours justice until now...a GIANT, HUGE thank you to my dear friend Emily Morrison who spent four days at our house a few weeks ago and documented her visit with more than 600 photos! Today, Graham went to daycare for the first time and it was an otherwise tough day until now...

Proud
Nick graduated from Army Ranger school in December. An amazing feat for which we are all extremely proud. It was a long, long process for a family that couldn't wait to hear from their brother or son for weeks or months on end and likely an even longer process for a soldier who faced the most grueling and challenging times in his life. We are all so very, very proud of you, Nick.

The Littlest Cheez-It
Annie Goes to KU
Late this past summer...back when there was sun and warmth...Chris and I took Annie to Clinton Lake in Lawrence for a romp in the lake. After a quick stop on Mass Street, Chris and I jumped back in the car and decided to drive through campus on our way to the lake. Being the total dorks that we are, we started pretending like we were dropping Annie off for her first day of college. Made a life up for her, complete with what she would major in, what sorority she would join. I know...nerds.
Annie lounges at Allen Field House.

I know I have been a terrible blogger lately. I have a little nugget of an excuse. I will do my best to catch you up over the next few weeks. Check back.

Feeling Inspired

I've been shopping for a new house every Sunday. It's the first thing I do when I wake up. Funny thing is..we aren't going anywhere according to the boss. Meanwhile, I'm dreaming of DIY projects and redecorating. I found the perfect blog to get me inspired. Check out Young House Love. Flip through the before and after pictures on the house tour. It's AMAZING and I'm OBSESSED.

Dave
Going to see my main man again tonight. Two times in one tour!? I'm going straight over after work, so much thought had to be given to an outfit that transitioned from work to concert. I asked Chris if he thought Dave would like my outfit this morning. He rolled his eyes.
